Last weekend I chickened-out. I had to ride from the
centre of Vancouver Proper to No. 8 Road & a klick or
two south of Westminster Highway -- a mere 10 miles.

Anyway, I walked it over the Knight Street bridge.
I don't like that my saddle height is taller than the
railing.

I walked it coming home the following morning, too.
Just as well. There was a smashed Smirnoff vodka
mickey bottle (red label) on the sidewalk; broken
jagged glass was everywhere.

Alex Fraser bridge, with all those signs & posts
sticking out into the walkway? And all that height
and wind and weather? I can't even do the Knight
Street bridge any more.

cheers,
Tom
