What can you do with this euphemism.
"there are no coincidences, only the illusion of coincidence"

That sounds more like an aphorism than a euphemism.

The other day I was on the way to the LBS, thinking about how expensive
my favourite tires are ($33 for Continental Top Touring 2000 700x37) and
lamenting about how they never go on sale. That thought was still fresh
in my mind when I arrived there, and they had one left; discounted from
$33 to $25.

Was that a coincidence, or an illusion of a coincidence? If it was an
illusion, maybe the new Conti Top Touring 2000 700x37 tire sitting in
my storage room right now is an illusion too. :)

Well, Deepak Chopra has a book on "Harnessing the Infinite Power of
Coincidence" which you might read and get bargains galore. ; )

"there are no coincidences, only the illusion of coincidence"
I said euphemism because it is "The act or an example of substituting a
mild, indirect, or vague term for one considered blunt"

I have two freaky coincidences, and maybe yours is why the first
syllable is "coin", but mine happened too often to be coincidence. For
instance everytime I had a song in my head and I turned on the radio that
was what was playing. That maybe esp. I am on and off with esp
sometimes. Have to be in the right mood.
Second, every time I went for a ride 9 x out of 10 the reflector would
be in the way when I wanted to lock up. Happened more than just out of 10X
too.
I believe in "if it can happen it will". Murphy's Law. Kind of like "There
is always one in a crowd" Ha ha Happy to say those 2 issues do not bother
me any more. Does not happen I mean. Is ESP also just illusion?

Cheers
Happy Biking
